Microsoft Silverlight has a section for update settings which enables you to specify checking downloading and installing updates. Updating options differ depending on a system you are using, and in some, automatic updates will be unavailable, older OS versions do not support checking for updates, and some settings of the system can disable updating completely. All options can be enabled or disabled manually with conformity to technical requirements.
